Suspects Nabbed in Columbus Thefts

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — Two men face grand larceny charges after Columbus police and Lowndes deputies say they caught them trying to sell stolen goods.

Jeffy Nunez, 21, and Jerry Desimi, 26, were caught shortly before 11 Tuesday morning at P&R Scrap on Highway 45 near the Lowndes-Monroe County line. They and their tan Ford Explorer matched the descriptions reported by witnesses who saw them taking the goods from property on Plymouth Road.
