Suspicious Columbus House Fire

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – A Columbus house caught on fire Thursday night and now investigators want to know how it started.

The call came in about 11 P.M. at 1220 Ash Street.

Flames were coming from the side of the house when police and firefighters arrived.

The fire was quickly extinguished at the abandoned house.

Columbus fire investigators and police are investigating the cause of the fire.
