Tennessee Man Arrested in Clay County for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender

WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI) –  On August 24, 2105 the Clay County Sheriff Department in conjunction with the United States Marshall Service arrested Robert Crim, age 41, of Henning, Tennessee. Crim was charged with failure to register as a sex offender.

Sheriff Eddie Scott said Crim was living in Lowndes County and working in Clay County and had failed to register as a sex offender. Crim had previously been convicted of a sex crime in the state of Arkansas.

Crim is incarcerated at the Clay County Detention Center with no bond. His case will be presented in the October term of grand jury.
Sheriff Scott stated the Clay County Sheriff Department will continue to monitor sex offenders residing in West Point and Clay County.
