COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — The Thunderbirds make a rumble as they flew in to the Columbus Air Force Base.

Twelve F16 pilots arrive to prepare for the Wings Over Columbus Air Show that will debut April 5 and 6.

As one Thunderbird pilot arrived on base he felt a little closer to home.

“It’s kind of like a homecoming,” Major Joshua Boudreaux said. “Columbus Air Force Base and the Golden Triangle were my home for five years so coming back to where it all started for me is awesome.”

Major Boudreaux’s brother will also be participating in the Air Show with the Hurricane Hunters.
