Theft, Drug Arrests in Monroe

MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (Sheriff’s Press Release) — On 03/21/2014, Monroe County Sheriff’s Department Investigative Unit arrested Phil O’Neal Barker, 47, of Aberdeen, and Quinton Alex Johnson, 29, of Prairie. Barker is charged with Accessory After the Fact. Johnson is charged with Grand Larceny.

The arrests came as a result of an ongoing investigation into a theft from a local business where 10 deer cameras were stolen in February 2014.

All property has been recovered.

Both subjects are being held at Monroe County Detention Center.

On 03/22/2014, Monroe County Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Unit arrested Nicholas J. Daniel, 30, of Tupelo, and Franklin J. Robertson Jr., 31, of Tupelo.

Both subjects are charged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent and Possession of Crack Cocaine.

The arrests came as the result of a traffic stop on Highway 45 Alternate in Monroe County.

Both subjects are being held at Monroe County Detention Center.
