Video: Update: Three Injured In Propane Truck Involved Crash

Update: Highway 45 Alternate is now open.

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A wreck on Highway 45 Alternate at Tarlton Road, involving a propane truck, shut down the Lowndes County highway on Friday afternoon.

The propane truck was leaking and Haz-Mat crews were called to the scene.

State troopers say a Ford pick-up was traveling North, while the propane truck was going east on Tarlton Road when they collided about 3:38 P.M.

David Estes, 53, of West Point and Gabriel Mays, 19, of Ceder Bluff were in the truck.

Harry Dean Decker, 56,  of Henryetta, Oklahoma was driving the M&W Butane Gas propane truck.

M.H.P. says all three were taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Highway 45 Alternate will be shut down for several hours, as crews clear the scene.
