Three Injured, Including Two Hatley Teens, In Crash

MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Three people were ejected from a vehicle in a Monroe County accident, including two Hatley High School baseball players, on Friday afternoon.

Monroe County Sheriff Cecil Cantrell said the one-vehicle crash happened at Old Highway 6 and Splunge Road about 1:30 P.M. Friday.

Cantrell said one person inside the vehicle was airlifted to North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo with a punctured lung.

The other two people involved were taken to an Gilmore Memorial Regional Medical Center in Amory. Their condition is unknown.
