Three Qualify for Oktibbeha County Prosecutor Special Election

OKTIBBEHA COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)-Three names will be on the ballot for the November 5th special election to replace Oktibbeha County’s Prosecutor. 30 year veteran Roy Carpenter Junior ended his career as Starkville’s and Oktibbeha County’s Prosecutor in June of this year. 15 year veteran Caroline Moore was appointed as the city’s new prosecutor in June by the Starkville Alderman. Those seeking Carpenters position are: Haley Brown, who was named interim prosecutor by the board of supervisors, Brace Knox, who began her full-time law practice in 2007, and Matthew Wilson who operates a general law office.
