THS Band Director Steps Down

TUPELO, MS (WCBI) Tupelo High Band Director Tim Matlock has resigned.

Dr. Gearl Loden tells WCBI News Matlock from his post Wednesday afternoon.  The resignation comes in the wake of Matlock’s arrest  last  week on  drug charges.  The long time Tupelo school employee was arrested December 21st on possession of methamphetamine charges during a routine traffic stop by New Albany Police.  The search for his replacement is already underway.
