Tishomingo Burglary Leads To Prentiss Arrests

PRESS RELEASE
A recent Burglary in Tishomingo County helps Prentiss County solve a String of Thefts and Burglaries in Prentiss County.  Our Investigators exhibited great diligence in pursuing the leads in this case that culminated in Five Arrests.

Jessica Rhodes

  1.)  Mickey McVey 38 of Booneville was charged with (2) Two Counts of Grand Larceny involving pull type trailers from HWY 30 West and CR 5011 and an Air Compressor that was taken along with one of the trailers.  He was also charged with Burglary of a Dwelling on CR 1341 and Our Narcotics Officers charged him with Conspiracy to Possess or Distribute a Controlled Substance.
2.)  Steven Gentry 30 of Booneville was charged with (2) Two Counts of Grand Larceny stemming from the above mentioned Trailer Thefts, Burglary of a Dwelling on CR 5050, Conspiracy to Receive/ Possess Stolen Property, and Receiving Slolen Property.  The later two charges stemmed from the Burglary in Tishomingo County involving several guns.
3.)  Amber Johnson  26 of Belmont is charged with Burglary of a Dwelling on CR 5050, Conspiracy to Receive/Possess Stolen Property and Possession of Stolen Property
4.)  Jessica Rhodes 30 of Booneville is charged with Burglary of a Dwelling on CR 5050
McVey’s bond was set at $12,500 and has been released on Bond
Gentry’s bond has not been set.  He was transferred to the Union County Jail where he was under MDOC Supervision for Charges from that County  He has a Hold for Prentiss County.
Amber Ann Johnson’s bond has not been set, she remains in the Tishomingo County Jail with a hold for Prentiss County
Jessica Rhodes bond has been set at $5,000 and remains in Custody
Investigators recovered (5) Five guns from the Tishomingo County Burglary, the Air Compressor from the CR 5011 theft and investigators have leads on some of the remaining stolen property that they are working on.
