Toyota in Blue Springs Gives Boys and Girls Club A Big Check

BLUE SPRINGS, Miss. (WCBI)-Toyota in Blue Springs also participated in Northeast Mississippi’s ‘ Day of Caring.’

Giving the Boys and Girls Club of North Mississippi a combined contribution of $35,000 dollars.

The donation comes as part of the company’s Team Member volunteer day.

” Our intent really in any location we do business in is to really become involved and understand the deepest needs of the community and then be able to help out, ” says Vice President Doug Formby.

The Boys and Girls Club of New Albany received 15 thousand to fund its current enhancement project.

The Boys and Girls Club of Northeast Mississippi Zell Long told WCBI what they the money will help the club out with,” To enhance the programming here to provide Transportation cost so we can take the members on field trips. To buy playground equipment, some materials for learning opportunities as well as just for fun. We call it ‘ Learning With A Purpose.”

The Boys and Girls Club Northside Clubhouse and Faith Haven also received 10 thousand dollars each.
