Traffic Stop gets a Pound of Pot off of the Streets in Monroe County

ABERDEEN, Miss. (WCBI) – A traffic stop in Monroe County leads to the arrest of an Aberdeen man, and the confiscation of a pound of marijuana.

On August 7th, deputies with the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department’s Narcotics Unit stopped David Cade Whitehead of Aberdeen on Coontail Road. When deputies searched Whitehead’s vehicle, they found a pound of marijuana. Whitehead was arrested. He is charged with possession of marijuana. He was released on $5,000.00 bond.
