Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Bust

Tommy CooleyLarry BryantSheila BryantUNION COUNTY, Miss. ( WCBI) – Twelve grams of crystal methamphetamine and about $ 1,500 in cash are seized after Union County officials conduct a traffic stop.

Three indviduals were in the vehicle when it was pulled over in the Fairfield area and a K-9 officer found the meth. Tommy Ray Cooley, 47, Larry Bryant Jr. age 40 and Sheila C. Bryant, 51, were all taken into custody. Further investigation into the case led to a search warrant for 1203 CR 189, Blue Springs which was the residence of two of the suspects. In the home more meth was found.

Cooley has been charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent and his bond is set at $50,000.

Larry Bryant Jr. was charged with possession of methamphetamine and his bond is set at $25,000.

Shelia C. Bryant was also charged with possession of methamphetamine and bond was set at $25,000 but after discovering she was on probation for possession of drugs a hold was placed on her as well.
