Traffic Stops Lead To Felony Drug Charges

COLUMBUS, MS (WCBI) – Traffic stps turn up more than tickets for Columbus Police  The first case started with a reckless driving stop on Man Street but when officers searched teh car, they discovered marijuana and cocaine inside.  As a result 35 year old Letisha Doss and 24 year old Christian Gums both face felony drug charges.

The second case stems from a safety checkpoint on Bluecutt Road. 34 year old Carl Parramore

PARRAMORE

was initially ticketed for an expired tag but officers then found marijuana.  To make matters worse. methamphetamine was found on Parramore when he was being booked into the Detention center so he also faces an additional count of possesion of a controlled substance inside a correctional facility.
