Video: Traveling Art Exhibit Honoring Fallen Soldiers Stops at Mississippi State

MISSISSIPPI STATE UNIVERSITY, Miss. (WCBI) -An Army unit that lost 23 members during Operation Iraqi Freedom has become a symbol for military families and soldiers everywhere. And a traveling art exhibit that pays a personal tribute to those 23 soldiers from Lima Company 3/25 opened today at Mississippi State.

The “Eyes of Freedom” features life size portraits of soldiers from Lima Company and offers visitors an opportunity for a personal tribute to generations of service men and women.

The exhibit hosted by the Center for America’s Veterans is open through Friday in the Colvard Student Union Art Gallery.
