Trump To Host Rally In Alabama

MOBILE, Ala. (AP) – GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump is planning a rally in a 40,000-seat football stadium in Mobile.

Officials say the campaign settled on Ladd-Peebles Stadium because of the flood of ticket requests that came in once the event was announced.

The Alabama secretary of state’s office says more than 30,000 are expected to attend the event Friday evening.

The rally had been planned for the Mobile Civic Center, which seats less than 2,000 people.

The rally is planned for 7 p.m. Admission is free, and shuttles are being planned for parking in remote lots.
