Tupelo Announces Road Closure For February 22nd

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) –  The Tupelo Water and Light Department has scheduled a road closing starting tomorrow morning.

127 Oak Shadows Road will be closed to thru traffic from 7:00am until 5:00pm Monday, February 22nd.

Director of Tupelo Water and Light Johnny Timmons says it’s all part of the ongoing work in the recently annexed area of
the city.

The closure will allow crews to cut the road and install a sewer line.

Drivers are urged to find an alternate route until the road re-opens.
