TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – It’s an early Christmas gift for the Create Foundation and the Salvation Army.

Two anonymous companies in the Tupelo area donated brand new furniture for the Salvation Army’s transitional housing in Verona.

Five units in The Oaks Apartment are getting brand new sofas, beds, carpet and refrigerators.

The transitional facility is for families in critical need of housing.

The program was made possible by a 50 thousand dollar grant from the CREATE Foundation.

That money was used to renovate the apartments.

With the new furniture, the apartments are ready for use.
