VIDEO: Tupelo Factory Plans To Reopen After Fire

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – Investigators continue to try and determine what sparked an early Friday morning fire at a Tupelo factory.

Sleeper Kraft went up in flames just before 1 AM.

A person driving by the Eason Boulevard factory saw the fire and called 911.

No one was inside the building at the time of the fire. When firefighters arrived it was fully engulfed.

The building is a total loss

The plant manager tells WCBI plans are to relocate in the city and to reopen soon.

35 people work at Sleeper Kraft.
