Tupelo High Band Director Arrested

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – Tupelo High School’s band director is free on bond after being arrested on a meth charge.

Timothy Matlock is facing a possession of crystal meth charge.

New Albany Police Chief Chris Robertson says Matlock was arrested after a traffic stop on Monday.

Matlock’s bond was set at 25 thousand dollars.

The Union County jail confirms he was released on bond.

Tupelo public schools are closed and no one was available for comment.
