Tupelo Man Receives Sentencing for Counterfeiting
Tupelo- A Tupelo man receives twenty-one months in federal prison for counterfeit.
Tellie Mairidith, 37, intentionally used fake money at a Tupelo Dollar General Store in May 2014.
After pleading guilty to the crime, a plea deal was accepted dropping one of the counterfeit charges.
U.S. District Judge Debra Brown also sentenced Mairidith to three years probation. Mairidith will have to pay a $100 fine and $50 dollars restitiution to Dollar General.
