Tupelo Names Grand Marshals For Christmas Parade

PRESS RELEASE
Tupelo, Miss. – The Downtown Tupelo Main Street Association (DTMSA) is thrilled to announce the 67th annual Reed’s Tupelo Christmas Parade will be held Friday, December 4th in downtown Tupelo. The 2015 theme for the Christmas Parade will be “A Night of Lights” and our grand marshals will be Major Jeff Daniels and his wife celebrating the Salvation Army Campaign to build a new wing to the homeless shelter.

DTMSA is honored to partner with Express Employment and welcome the Express Clydesdales to their second appearance in the annual event. These specific Clydesdales were also guests in the 2012 parade.

The 67th annual Reed’s Tupelo Christmas Parade will be Friday, December 4th on the streets of downtown Tupelo.  The parade will begin at 7:00 p.m. Groups can register to be in the parade by downloading the application off the DTMSA website, www.tupelomainstreet.com, or picking up an application at the DTMSA office, located at 108 S. Broadway Street in Downtown Tupelo. The registration deadline is Friday, November 6th. Any entries postmarked after November 6th will be accepted until November 13th if space is available and must include a $25 late fee.

Reed’s is the title sponsor of the annual parade. They are a 110-year-old department store in downtown Tupelo and are a long time supporter of the Downtown Tupelo Main Street Association.
