Tupelo Police Arrest Man on Sexual Battery Charge

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) — An ongoing investigation in a sexual battery case has yielded one arrest.

Officers with the Tupelo Police Department arrested 22-year-old Benton County resident Charles Howell on one charge of sexual battery.

Howell is accused of having sex with a child under 16 years old.

Howell’s bond has been set at $7,500.
