Tupelo Police Looking for Driver in Hit-and-Run

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) — Tupelo police need your help finding the man who struck a woman with his car, and took off.

The hit and run happened around 6:30 p.m. last Tuesday.

Officers were called to Garfield Street at the corner of South Gloster, and found a woman lying on the street, who had been hit by a car.

Investigators are describing the car as a silver PT Cruiser, with possible damage to the front left headlight and bumper.

The driver’s described as a skinny black man with gold teeth, who was wearing a navy shirt and jeans.
