Tupelo Police Make Several Arrests

TUPELO, Miss. (Press Release) – The Tupelo Police Department has arrested a Tupelo man for aggravated assault. On 10-22 Officers responded to a report of a stabbing on Ida St. On scene they discovered a male suffering from multiple stab wounds and the suspect Travis Jones. An investigation revealed that the assault was the result of an argument between the two men. An edged weapon was receovered at the scene. The victim was transported to NMMC and is still being treated for his injuries. Lee County Justice Court Judge Chuck Hopkins set Jones’ bond at $500,000.00.

The Tupelo Police Department has arrested a Tupelo woman for aggravated assault. On 10-22 Officers responded to a shots fired call on Lumpkin St. Responding officers located the suspect, Desiree Price, and took her into custody. An investigation revealed that the incident was the result of domestic argument. No one was injured by gunfire and a firearm was recovered. Lee County Justice Court Judge Sadie Holland set Price’s bond at $35,000.00.

The Tupelo Police Department has arrested a Tupelo woman for aggravated assault. On 10-24 Officers responded to an assault call on Deer Park Rd. When they arrived on scene they discovered a male and female in an altercation. Once the two were seperated it was discovered that the male had been cut multiple times.. The female, Amy Brigman, was taken into custody An edged weapon was recovered from Brigman. The male was transported to NMMC for treatment. Lee County Justice Court Judge Sadie Holland set Brigman’s bond at $25,000.00.
