Tupelo Police Search for Forgery Suspect

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI)- Tupelo police are searching for a man caught trying to cash in on fake checks.

Investigators are searching for James T. Edwards.

On June 16th, Police say Edwards forged and uttered 4 checks at a bank in Tupelo.

If found guilty, Edwards could face up to five years in prison.
