TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – They’re saying it was self-defense.
A Tupelo man was shot and killed by his neighbor.
Brad Nance, 41, was on his neighbors back porch when he was fatally shot.
Authorities have not identified the neighbor who shot Nance.
Police say a noise woke the neighbor up around 5 am, he opened the door and told Nance to leave.
When Nance continued to walk forward, the neighbor fired a shot from his 4-10 shot gun.
Authorities say the man was within his rights and will present the evidence to the grand jury mid-July.
