Two Arrested In Itawamba County Burglary Investigations

FULTON, Miss. (WCBI) – Itawamba County investigators say two men worked together to steal everything from a lawn mower to guns.

James Ray Dew, 25, of Shubuta and Dustin Hudgens, 24, of Mantachie are both charged with two counts of burglary of a commercial building and two counts of grand larceny.

The charges stem from several thefts in the Highway 25 area of Mantachie last fall.

Itawamba County Sheriff Chris Dickenson said some stolen items were recovered Tuesday in Saltillo.

Other charges could be filed and may involve other counties.

Hudgens is in jail in Itawamba County, while Dew remains in jail in Wayne County for similar charges there.
