Two Arrested in Starkville Assault

STARKVILLE, Miss. (Press Release from Starkville Police) — On Sept. 14, 2014, 18-year-old Cheng Ye residing at 321B Oak Hall MSU, and 18 year old Dylan Mason Shannon residing at #8 Tally Ho Drive, Starkville, were arrested for Aggravated Assault which occurred during a physical altercation involving a drug transaction.

During this altercation the victim was stabbed then transported to Oktibbeha County Regional Medical Center by another subject involved in these events. Shannon also received a cutting wound to his right forearm.

This case is still under investigation and other charges may be filed.
