Two Booneville Men Charged with Felony Possession of Precursors
PRENTISS COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — A roadblock in Prentiss County yielded two meth-related arrests.
Deputies conducted the checkpoint Wednesday at the intersection of CR 7100 and CR 7131.
At some point during the roadblock, deputies encountered a pair of Booneville men, 27-year-old Evan Andrew Cox and 24-year-old Steven Taylor Champion.
A press release provided by the Prentiss County Sheriff’s Office states the men were found in possession of meth precursors with intent to manufacture methamphetamine, along with other misdemeanor charges.
Bond has not been set for either man.
