Two Die In Union County Crash

UNION COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — A one-car crash in Union County leaves two people dead.

According to the Highway patrol, it happened at 7:30 this morning near Myrtle.

The driver, 64-year-old Ronnie Davis, was going east on Highway 78 when he apparently ran off the road and hit a tree.

Two passengers in the car, 55-year-old Donia Davis of Ecru and 57-year-old Jo Darby of Amory died in the crash.

Davis received minor injuries.

The accident remains under investigation.
