Video: Two Jailed On Drug Charges In Lowndes County

LOWNDES CO., Miss. (WCBI) – Two are jailed on drug charges in Lowndes County this week.

On Tuesday, 43-year-old April Mae Hendricks was pulled over by

deputies for reckless driving.

After a search of Hendricks’ vehicle, they found pills, marijuana, and cocaine.

Hendricks was arrested on charges of reckless driving, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuanain a motor vehicle, and possession of cocaine.

She was taken to the Lowndes County Adult Detention Center that same day.

She was released yesterday on a bond of $12, 160 dollars.

27-year-old Christopher Dion Williams was also arrested Tuesday.

His charges are fleeing or eluding in a motor vehicle, driving on the wrong side of the road, and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.

Williams will make his first court appearance today, where a bond will be set.
