Two Men Jailed After Crashing In Separate Lowndes Co. Incidents

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Two separate traffic stop attempts lead to two crashes and two men in jail this past weekend in Lowndes County.

Randy Gunter, 38, is charged with speeding, suspended drivers license, and felony fleeing.

Lowndes County deputies say Gunter was caught speeding near Highway 373 and Mike Para Road on Saturday morning.

The Lowndes County man ended up crashing his car in Monroe County and had minor injuries.

In the other incident, 21 year -old Parker Lamar Rodabough is accused of driving on the wrong side of the road.

He is charged with D.U.I., felony fleeing, reckless driving, disobey traffic control device, driving on the wrong side of the road, and no insurance.

Lowndes County deputies say the Maben man was spotted on Highway 45, near Creekstone, early Sunday morning.

He ended up crashing near Mike Para Road.
