Video: Two Suffer Injuries in Afternoon Wreck at Airbase Hill

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – An afternoon wreck sends two people to the hospital in Columbus. The accident occurred at the intersection of Highways 45 and 373 on Airbase Hill.

A silver Volkswagen Beetle and a white Chevrolet Pick-up collided. The 20 year-old female driver and 19 year-old male passenger of the Volkswagen were both taken to Baptist Memorial Hospital for what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the Volkswagen was unrestrained. The driver of the truck was uninjured.

Columbus police continue to investigate the cause of the accident.
