TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) — Two of Tupelo’s principals will soon be taking on new jobs within the school district.

Tupelo Middle School principal Kristy Luse will now be the district’s director of educational enhancement and innovative research.

Lawndale Elementary principal Brock English will take over Luse’s position.

The school board approved the changes at their meeting Tuesday, after naming Eddie Moore as the district’s athletic director.

Luse is replacing Moore.

In her new job, she’ll work as a grant writer, and be in charge of the district’s Whole School Arts Initiative.
