MACON, Miss. (WCBI) – An accused murderer will have to wait to stand trial in Noxubee County.
Jury selection began Monday (3-18) in Lamarcus Jones’ third murder trial.

Out of a pool of 44 potential jurors, both sides were unable to settle on a jury.

Jones is scheduled to stand trial again in September.

He is accused of fatally shooting Arveo Lane, at the Q-5 Club, back in 2008.

Jones has stood trial twice before on the charge.

Both those proceedings took place in 2012 and ended in mistrial.

In the meantime, Jones is free on bond.
