UPDATE: Lowndes Co. Bone Found Not Human

LOWNDES CO., Miss. (WCBI)- Medical Examiners with the State Crime Lab have determined a bone found at a home on Fernbank Road near Steens, is not human.

There had been speculation that the bone might be connected to the disappearance of Keisha Turner of Vernon, whose burned out car was found near New Hope.

The Crime Lab has not positively identified the bone, but they have ruled out: human, cow, deer, and horse.
