UPDATE: Oxford High School Threat

OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI) – The defense for a teenager accused of threatening to blow up Oxford High School rejects an insanity exam.

The attorney for 19 year old Joshua Pillault says, a mental exam is premature in determining his clients insanity.

Federal prosecutors and public defender Goerge Lucas have asked a judge to order an evaluation of the 19 year old.

Pillault is accused of making threats against the school while playing the online game, “Rune-Scape” to other players in a chat room conversation.

He was arrested Monday after a fellow game player in Virginia contacted the Oxford Police Department.

A judge has not ruled on the motion filed Friday.
