Vicious Beating Update

DECATUR COUNTY, Tenn. (WCBI) — There is an update on the case regarding a vicious beating and rape of an Iuka man back in February.

A Decatur County judge has bound all cases of four men who are charged with the attack to the Grand Jury.

Joesph Doyle is charged with rape, kidnapping, and his first degree attempted murder charge was reduced to aggravated assault.

Mason Niece is charged with aggravated assault after his first degree murder charge was reduced.

David Parrot is charged with aggravated kidnapping and simple assault after his Especially aggravated kidnapping and simple aggravated assault charges were reduced.

Cody Parrott is charged with simple assault after his aggravated assault charge was reduced and Especially aggravated kidnapping charge was dropped.

Deputies say the victim was kidnapped, beaten with bricks, and sexually assaulted before being left to die.

Their arraignments have been set for the week of May 17.
