LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Members of 4-County Electric Power Association had a chance to check up on the technical and business health of the co-operative.
The association held its annual membership meeting at its Lowndes County offices.

Among the benefits of Power Association membership are the ability to elect board members and having a say in business operations. But for many the annual meeting is more about personal connections than electric ones.
“It’s kind of an opportunity for all of our employees to meet our members, and have some fellowship and some good food, and some fun. So, it’s something we look forward to. As you can tell, it’s something our members look forward to every year, and we’re just awful glad to be here, and fellowshipping with them.”

This year the Co-operative is also giving back with grants of over $30,000.00 through the newly formed Four County foundation.
