Video: Aberdeen Memorial Day Observance

ABERDEEN, Miss. (WCBI) – Under the leadership of the American Legion Post 26, Odd Fellows Cemetery in Aberdeen was site of an annual ceremony.

Patriotic citizens gathered were paying tribute to those who paid the ultimate sacrifice and those still serving in defense of freedom.

Mississippi National Guard CSM George Miller encouraged participants to fly an American flag in honor of their duty and sacrifice.

There was a brief history presentation of the Odd Fellows Cemetery and mention made of military icons buried there.
