CORINTH, Miss. (WCBI) -Changes are coming to the Alcorn County school district drug testing policy. New rules will require a 30 day suspension from school sanctioned activity after the first positive test. Those penalties could lead to an indefinite suspension after the fourth failed test. The new rules also require the student to seek drug counseling at the student’s expense. Student activities ranging from sports to band and chorus are covered under the new rules. Students are selected at random to be tested.
