Video: Amory Starting Fresh on Rental Ordinance

AMORY, Miss. (WCBI) – Amory’s Board of Aldermen is still working out the kinks in its push to approve a rental ordinance.Landowners flocked to city hall tonight to voice their concerns and questions geared toward the most recent draft of the rental ordinance.

Mayor Brad Blalock, however, told attendees the board was not planning to commit to the newest draft.Blalock said the board is pursuing a polished ordinance that doesn’t infringe on the rights of landowners, but also presses the issue of beautification within the city.
