KEMPER COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — The search is on for the suspect in a four-county crime spree which has stretched into Winston and Attala Counties.

Fredrick Rush has been very busy over the past week and now police in four counties want to find him.

Investigators say the 33-year-old Kemper County man started by breaking into a water association building in Kemper County and then stealing a truck to make his getaway.

WCBI was told he ditched that truck and stole one in Winston County. Authorities believe he is traveling in that vehicle now.

Kemper County Sheriff James Moore says he thinks Rush will try to make his way back to Kemper County, but says residents in all of the affected counties can call with information if they have seen him. The number to call is 1-855-485-TIPS.
