Video: Benefit Concert Raises Money for Tornado Victims

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) — A benefit concert raises thousand of dollars for north Mississippi tornado victims.

Tupelo Main Street Association says a preliminary count totals up to $36,079.

The money raised will go to the create foundation’s northeast Mississippi tornado relief fund.

It’s estimated more than 1,700 people donated as they walked through the free concert.

A number of artists performed, including Tupelo’s very own Paul Thorn.
