Video: Big Creek Man Shot and Killed Over the Weekend

CALHOUN COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) -Deputies are trying to find the person who shot a Big Creek man multiple times.

A memorial was set up today where the body of Billy Covington was found over the weekend.

Sheriff Greg Pollan says several people are being interviewed and investigators are waiting on a preliminary autopsy report.

Two people found Covington’s body in a ditch on County Road 308 Saturday morning.

The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is also assisting in the case.
