Video: Boeing Funding Research Initiative at Mississippi State

MISSISSIPPI STATE UNIVERSITY, Miss. (WCBI) – Boeing will provide three million dollars for hosting a stitched resin infused composite research center on the MSU campus.

The company will also pay two engineers who are experts in the technology.

This partnership also means research opportunities for students.

MSU competed with other universities to land the project.

The university was also selected to lead the federal aviation administration’s national center of excellence for unmanned aircraft systems.

Now, an agreement with Boeing must be reached to finalize the decision.
