Video: Bryan Launches Reelection Campaign

AMORY, Miss. (WCBI) — Another Mississippi senator is running for reelection.

State senator Hob Bryan kicked off his campaign in Amory Thursday evening.

The Democrat currently represents District 7, which serves Itawamba, Lee and Monroe Counties.

Two key issues Bryan says are important to him are public education and economic development.

“The key to economic development is a qualified workforce, and we’ve got to have a well educated workforce,” Bryan said. “There is nobody who thinks a high school dropout is a member of the well educated workforce.”

Bryan has served in the legislature since 1984.
