Video: Busy Street in Columbus to be Closed for Repairs

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – A busy Columbus street will be closed for two weeks as part of a major construction project.

City leaders say 14th Avenue North will be closed between 22nd and 25th streets starting Monday.

Drivers will be detoured or should find an alternative route. The closure is part of more than a million dollars in improvements that will widen 14th Avenue and correct drainage problems in the area.
