STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI)- Starkville is now the home of one of the most advanced business computing centers in the country. Governor Phil Bryant and a host of government and business leaders were on hand as C-Spire cut the ribbon on its $23 million Commercial Data Center at Thad Cochran Research Park.

Company officials say Starkville had several positives going for it, and the center should boost the state’s reputation as a technology leader.

C Spire COO, Kevin Hankins said, “The reason we are in Starkville is because it is the lowest geographic risk area in the state, Number One. Number Two, it’s good access to multiple power sources, and also to qualified, skilled people.”

The C-Spire facility is considered the South’s premiere data center, and has one of the highest certifications in the nation.
